Art That Transforms Spaces

Locally rooted, globally connected

At Hilvana, we integrate contemporary art into high‑end architectural, residential, and commercial projects in Riviera Nayarit and other exceptional locations around the world.

We don’t simply decorate: we curate each space visually so it tells a story. We work hand in hand with architects, interior designers, and developers to select, commission, and install works that amplify the project’s essence.

We handle everything: artist research, acquisition, logistics, installation, and documentation. We design bespoke proposals so every piece dialogues perfectly with its environment.

Tailored Curation

Tailored Curation

What We Do and Who We Serve

We view art as a tool to strengthen a project’s identity, enrich its aesthetic and symbolic experience, and simultaneously boost its commercial value. More than selecting pieces, we design experiences:

  • Ad hoc selection: we assemble existing works that match the character of the space.
  • Site‑specific commissions: we oversee the creation of unique works in collaboration with artists, in dialogue with the architecture and project intent.

Each proposal adapts to its context, integrates art naturally, and transforms every space into a memorable experience.

We Collaborate With:

  • Architecture firms
  • Interior designers
  • Real estate developers
  • Private residence and boutique project owners
  • Hotels and commercial spaces
  • Collectors

Our Services:

  • Personalized selection of artworks: painting, sculpture, photography, installation, mural, print, drawing, and more.
  • Site‑specific commissions: works conceived in dialogue with the space, created alongside artists.
  • Flexible engagement: from early design phases to renovations or inhabited projects.
  • Comprehensive management: acquisition, production, transport, technical installation, and documentation.
  • Advisory & conservation: ongoing guidance on certification, maintenance, and artist relations to preserve each work’s value.

Our Step‑by‑Step Approach

Active Listening

Every conversation is a starting point and a compass. We listen carefully to a space’s nuances and the client’s vision, desires, and priorities to understand the location’s purpose.

Bespoke Proposal

We propose a selection of works tailored to the space’s character and the client’s vision. This may involve existing pieces or special commissions developed in direct collaboration with artists.

Comprehensive Coordination

We manage every stage with meticulous care—from commissioning and acquisition to transport, installation, documentation, and artist liaison. We ensure clarity and consistency in every decision.

Follow‑Through & Continuity

We remain involved long after installation: maintenance, certification, archiving, and everything needed to preserve each work’s value, integrity, and meaning over time.

Hilvana two backgrounds

Why Hilvana

Our Distinction

Two Backgrounds, One Vision

Hilvana was born from the collaboration between Guillermo Moreno’s international experience and Paula Leilani’s territorial and cultural roots. Their union creates a curatorial practice combining conceptual rigor, local listening, and a contemporary outlook that shapes visual narratives deeply tied to their context.

We Don’t Decorate, We Curate with Purpose

Led by curators experienced in museums, fairs, private collections, and international cultural platforms, we translate complex visions into clear, enduring proposals. Art is an essential component of space, capable of resonating, provoking, and communicating.

Elegance Without Artifice

We avoid stereotypical or decorative aesthetics. We propose a contemporary, ethical, and understated vision that connects local and global without clichés. We celebrate Mexico’s dynamic cultural scene while engaging with London, Berlin, Barcelona, Los Angeles, and New York, all while amplifying local voices.

A Living Network, Not a Static Catalog

We collaborate with a flexible network of Mexican and international artists, artisans, and creators. We craft unique proposals that dialogue with each project, enriching architecture, narrative, and context.

Templarte

Community Lab & Artistic Programs

Templarte

Templarte is Hilvana’s social and territorial core. Led by Paula Leilani from Nayarit, it forges connections between artists, communities, and local knowledge. Through residencies, workshops, and public programs, it integrates art into daily life and strengthens social fabric.

This participatory dimension enriches Hilvana’s curatorial work with an ethical, sensitive, and situated perspective. While Guillermo Moreno leads international artist collaborations, Templarte broadens the dialogue to include emerging voices deeply rooted in their territory, uniting global and local to create proposals with lasting cultural and social impact.
